From Yeti Pictures comes this electric film for Big Noon Saturday on FOX, the biggest show for college football. Not To Scale produced the film directly with the creative team at FOX, bringing together an all-American vintage-inspired look and teasing the action and faces that will light up the channel across the season.

Packed full of easter eggs for the discerning football fan, this film is all in on Americana. Inspired by vintage wooden billboards and circuses of old, the soul of the piece is in the movement of the clever mechanisms designed and built by a team of animators. The beginning of the project was devoted to developing how these contraptions might move, and how to make them look as satisfying as possible.

Creative Director, FOX
We had an absolute blast working on the latest FOX Sports opener for Big Noon Saturday! The client came to us with a fantastic vision, and the journey of discovering exactly how to bring it to life was incredibly exciting. To give the piece a charming, vintage aesthetic, we decided to blend modern motion design with the tactile feel of classic wooden cut-out toys. We loved the creative challenge of making this hybrid style work—hand-drawing every single texture and building fun little mechanisms so the players and announcers moved just like real wooden figures. The end result is a short, high-energy animation packed with intense action, all while maintaining a warm, traditional vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed pushing our creative boundaries on this one and are so proud of how it turned out!

College football is a time-honoured tradition, and we wanted the film to pay tribute to it's history rooted in American legacy while giving it some fun modern updates.
