Director duo Luca&Sinem’s work focuses on quirky, lovable and eccentric character-driven storytelling, with a raw directing style.

Luca&Sinem take each project as a new challenge to create unique visual worlds and idiosyncratic characters. With an extensive background in animation, live action and VFX, Luca&Sinem design, direct and animate commercials, short films and original content. Based in London, the duo have worked with brands and agencies worldwide, directing and designing work for Oreo, ING Bank, Renault and most recently led a huge campaign for Deutsche Telekom. 

Known for their distinctive and eccentric storytelling, Luca&Sinem also work in longer formats. Their films have been critically acclaimed, screened and awarded around the world at noteworthy festivals including Oscar-Qualified Atlanta film festival, SIGGRAPH, AnimaMundi, Edinburgh and British Animation Awards. In addition, Luca was known for his work as Background Supervisor on Cartoon Networks’s ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’ and Sinem as Animation Director for NBC/Universal’s BAFTA Children’s award-winning ‘Floogals’.
