When Droga5 NY wanted to create multiple and different kaleidoscopic animations for new Trident vibes chewing gum, who best to approach than Not To Scale and their multi-disciplined director, Mate Steinforth.
By combining sixteen different styles of animation and life action Mate mirrors the flavour journey and intensity felt by each protagonist. Each style is imaginatively cut from one to the next, changing with every chew and lending an upbeat pace and visual interest to each of the four spots.
From real world to animated extravaganza, each flavour has a relevant colour palette and a number of strong visual and graphic styles that enhances the viewers enjoyment and relationship with the gum.
The films were shot in London with the Animation and Post Production happening between Berlin and London.
