This film for online and TV tells the story of the positive impact of the refurbishment of Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. The calandria - the pressure vessel that produces steam to turn the turbines and produce the power within the station - was used as the centrepiece of the story. A wall of hanging lights was put in place across the calandria itself as an art installation, illustrating these benefits using electricity and power in a beautiful way. The animation was played back live as the installation was filmed.
