Melanie Krein

Melanie Krein is a director and illustrator, driven by her passion for telling stories and making things move. She utilises striking and bold designs to create animated worlds full of charm, where her characters are brought to life through emotional narratives.

Originally from Germany, she has swapped the Bavarian blue sky for a British variety of shades of grey and now calls London her new home.

Melanie has directed projects for a variety of commercial clients including McDonald’s, Tommy Hilfiger, CBBC, Standard Chartered and Deloitte. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and screenings, including Stash Magazine, Onedotzero London, Computer Arts Magazine and the London Animation Festival
