This talented duo’s objective is to make creative commercials and evocative films with an emphasis on strong character design.
Pierre and Bertrand have been working together since 2004. The year saw them make their award winning short film “True Color”, awarded by numerous animation festivals worldwide – Monaco IMAGINA , SICAF Séoul, SIGGRAPH, MUNDOS DIGITALES Spain, EMAGICIENS France and more – until it was picked up by top French film channel, Canal+.
After the success of “True Colour”, Pierre finished his course in the field of directing/animation from the world-renowned School of Gobelins in Paris whilst Bertrand worked as an animator on a Luc Besson Production, also in Paris. Their first collaboration with Not To Scale for Nickelodeon Jr saw them win an international Promax Gold Award and a BAFTA nomination for Best Short Form in 2013.
This talented duo’s talent lies in creative commercials and evocative films, with an emphasis on strong character design, allowing them to tell stories using incredible visual skills. Their short film “La Détente”, which took four years to create, was shown as part of the Cannes film festival, many other festivals worldwide and scooped the prestigious best animation award at Rushes Awards. Since then then they have directed outstanding commercials for Volvo, Adidas, Navman, Mars, Hozelock and EE, and their short film “Sea Stars” for WWF won a bronze Cannes Lion in 2015 in Branded Content & Entertainment for Original Use of Music.
